Discover and experience the breathtaking wingfoil paradise and let yourself be captivated

select & book

Welcome to Boavista, one of the 15 stunning Cape Verdean islands where we are proud to have been the first wingfoil school to successfully teach this unique and fascinating sport a few years ago. The island, located in the heart of the Atlantic Ocean, offers a true paradise for all wingfoil enthusiasts and those who want to learn this exciting sport.

On Boavista, not only can you safely complete your first few meters on the foil without an annoying shore break, but after just a few meters of knee-high water, you can immediately enter deep, turquoise water. The expansive bay boasts an impressive variety of waters, from calm flat water to small, medium, and even large waves (Liowa) at the harbour.

Our school offers a sophisticated and effective training concept that will quickly give you a feel for foiling. Even as a complete newcomer to water sports, you will immediately feel at ease in this relatively easy-to-learn sport of wingfoiling. We use very small groups for our courses and the BBTalkin Bluetooth system on the helmet to ensure optimum communication with the instructor.

What makes Boavista so special is not only the fascinating water landscape but also the relaxed atmosphere and hospitality of the islanders. Here you can experience unspoiled nature, from endless sandy beaches to picturesque sunsets, without the stress of everyday life.
We look forward to welcoming you to our family-run school and offering you an unforgettable experience.

Information about travel, accommodation etc.

“Boavischta”, as the locals pronounce it, is definitely a vacation highlight. It is one of the 15 Cape Verde islands and is located around 500-600 kilometers off the West African coast at the height of Dakar, a good 1000 kilometers south of the Canary Islands. Boavista is one of the most breathtaking spots in the world. The vastness, the water colors, the Cape Verdean “no stress” flair and the unique nature make the island so desirable.

As the first kite, windsurf, stand-up paddle and surf school on Boavista, we set up shop here over 17 years ago, 5-10 minutes from the town center. We deliberately chose the Tortuga Beach Club with Ruth and Leo. They have been running the restaurant for many years and offer excellent Italian cuisine and the best fish dishes.

Accomodations

If you want to experience the ‘joie de vivre’ of the locals in the small town of Sal Rei up close AND get the most out of water sports, then we recommend that you stay in a nice apartment as close as possible to our station.

We offer two wonderful accommodations just a 3-minute walk away. You can choose between the Cala da lua Aparthotel with its charmingly furnished rooms and optional breakfast service or the lovely Ca Nicola Hotel, which is located right on the beach and includes breakfast. You can book both accommodations through us, depending on your preference.

Of course, there are a few more accommodations, all of which have their own charm and can be booked directly by you.
