Surf equipment rental
Experience great surf sessions with us right in front of the center
You can rent a board for one, two, three hours, or a whole day from our rental shop on Boavista. If you rent for a week, the daily price is significantly reduced. There is a small reef with beautiful and safe waves right in front of the center. There you can let off steam to your heart’s content and always be in sight of our Baywatch team. From shortboards to longboards (softboards) for your comfort, you can get everything from us.
Information and process
After you have registered with us in the office, you will choose the perfect board for you together with a team member. You then have time to change in our changing rooms and store your valuables in a lockable compartment. Before you go on the water, sign in on our security list. You also have the option of putting on a high-visibility lycra from us so that you can be seen by our Baywatch team. And now it’s time to get on the water and have lots of fun.
The rental includes the surfboard. Accessories such as a wetsuit or shoes can be booked separately.
To rent a surfboard, you must be able to swim safely.

- How can I pay on the spot?
You can pay at the center in cash or by credit card. If you book in advance, you can pay conveniently by credit card.
- What if there are no waves?
If there are no waves, we will try to postpone your rental period or you can try an alternative such as stand-up paddling.
