Wingfoil advanced course (without a boat – upwind required)
Learn specific wingfoil techniques under professional guidance
Are you no longer a beginner?
But would like to practise wingfoil techniques with one of our instructors to improve your skills. This course takes place in a small group without an accompanying boat, which means that you must be able to sail upwind with the wing foil. You will be trained from land using our efficient Bb Talkin Bluetooth system on your helmet.
Information and process
Meeting point for hotel guests: 7:20 a.m. if the course starts at 7:30 a.m., meeting point for external guests: 7.10 or 7:15 a.m. at our pick-up points in Malcesine, Navene, or Limone. If you come on foot, by bike/motorcycle, or are brought, please register at the hotel reception.
Course program: We have developed a training concept, especially for the Wing Foil that will get you “flying” over the water quickly and safely.
You don’t need your own equipment for the wingfoil course. Just bring your swimsuit, sun protection and something to drink. We will provide you with the following equipment during the course:
- Wing
- Wingboard
- Wetsuit
- Helmet
- Lifevest
- Shoes depending on your preference
A course unit lasts a total of 3 hours with 4 students, the duration changes according to the number of participants.
If you are not staying at the Hotel Capo Reamol, we offer to pick you up with our boat shortly before the course. We have 3 pick-up stations:
Malcesine: pick-up at the Hotel San Remo jetty, no direct car park nearby, pick-up times 7:15 and 12:40

We recommend that you book this course if you are still “stuck” on a particular manoeuvre. Here, the trained instructor will see how you can improve on land and give you the right tips using our Bb Talkin system.

We will be happy to answer any further questions you may have about the course.
- What do I do when there is no wind?
If there is no wind, we will try to postpone the course, so we recommend starting the course on the first day of your holiday to give you the necessary buffer. If it is calm and you are unlucky with the wind, we will issue a voucher that is valid for one year and can be redeemed at all destinations.
- What do I do when I am ill?
If you get sick during the course and are unable to attend, we will also try to postpone the course or alternatively issue a partial voucher that is valid for all destinations.
- Where do I register as an external guest?
If you are not staying at the Hotel Capo Reamol, please register at the hotel reception before you go down to our school to the meeting point.
